Auggie von Aach is a gorgeous 18 month old Shepherd mix. Auggie is a good-size boy with inquiring amber eyes highlighted with two perfect moons for eyebrows. As he can be a bit bashful or uncertain of new people, he will do best in a home with people who give him time to to settle in and get his bearings. With people he knows he socializes well and can be very loving, and is particularly fond of a good head scratch. Straight out of the gate for a walk, Auggie is composed and accepting of the leash. He walks in a perfect heel position.  He meets the other dogs face-to-face with no problems and is a champ walking in a pack of other dogs.  He is also fantastic off leash in play groups. He enjoys the company of easygoing dogs and gives them shy invitations to engage in play. Auggie knows sit and down commands, and accepts treats very gently. Auggie would enjoy an active adult adult home.
